Usages:
For selective enrichment of Listeria spp.
 
Principle:
Casein digest, animal tissue enzyme digests, beef extract powder, yeast extract powder provide nitrogen, vitamins, amino acids and growth factors; sodium chloride maintains osmotic equilibrium; disodium hydrogen phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer agent; Esculin is fermentable sugars; lithium chloride and other antibiotics can inhibit the Gram-negative bacteria and most gram-positive bacteria.
 
Formulation(per liter):
Casein digest 5.0g
Animal tissue enzyme digests 5.0g
Beef extract powder 5.0g
Yeast extract powder 5.0g
NaCl 20.0g
Disodium hydrogen phosphate 12.0g
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 1.35g
Esculin 1.0 g
Lithium chloride 3.0g
 Final pH 7.2 ± 0.2
 
How to use:
1.Suspend 28.7g in 1L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling ,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
